I have had opportunity to dine at the Mongolian-style restaurant a fair number of times in the past. I haven’t really been impressed however. We routinely head straight to Bali Hai for our Mongolian fix. This time was quite different!

Since we have been on a strict diet and exercise routine, we have really been monitoring what we eat. So far things are going great. Last night when we decided to eat at Crazy Fire, it fell right into our diet plan. Lots of fresh meats and vegetables and very limited amounts of bad oils etc. Since we have been eating so healthy lately, it was a welcomed changed to the Subway sandwiches and salads we would eat when dining out.

I must say the food and service was excellent. While still limiting portions, this was a fabulous meal.

Angie and I wanted to take a trip to Charleston this weekend. Kinda like the last get away before August arrives. Unfortunately and much to our dismay, we couldn’t find a hotel room on Memorial Day Weekend in Charleston. So we opted to take a day trip.

We found that Pope Air Force base was having an air show this weekend. As neither of us had been to an air show in quite some time, this seemed like fun.

We loaded up the car and went to Beverly…I mean Fort Bragg.

Wow were we surprised with the high level of security ever present. I’d seen pictures on TV of people being searched before but we were both searched and ID’d at least 3 times, had our car thoroughly searched, and that was just to get on the base.
No drive up parking at this show. Unload miles away and have a bus bring you in. Pass thru numerous checkpoints with armed guards and Hummer’s of the military type.
Once we arrived, we were entertained by numerous air performances, parachuters and the like. Many aircraft to look over. Take a look at our Gallery entry with all the pictures to show it.
We had a large time, even though it was very hot and lots and lots of walking.

This one rates a 8 / 10 on the fun trip scale.

Amazingly..according to the scales at home I have lost 6 lbs. I always thought you were suppose to be gaining weight when you are pregnant. Crazy isn’t it? The truth of the matter is I do not feel any smaller. Matter of fact I feel like I have gained weight and actually feel pregnant. My stomach has become rounder and is starting to pooch out. The area above my waist is also getting bigger. Nothing but maternity clothes from here on out.
Anything else interesting going on with my pregnancy? Let’s see..My face is breaking out. I have had some bouts with being nauseous but no vomiting. Other than that..nothing new to report.
We go for a second level utlrasound on Thursday. This one is suppose to be much more in depth. I am sure we will have lots to report after that.

As any tech geek would do, I’m thoroughly scouring the Internet for all the cool tech devices that will be ‘needed’ when the little one arrives.
Yesterday on Engadget’s blog they had the Robopax BabySitter. Battery-powered device to rock a baby carriage 66 times per min.
The site says that 66 times per min is the average heart-rate of an adult. Obviously they have tested my heart-rate during all this!!
This will come in quite handy for Angie. (Just joking)

Stay tuned for future updates on the tech of pregnancy.

As of today,I am 11 weeks and one day preganant. What exactly does that mean? The obvious is I am one week shy of being 3 months pregnant. What you might not know is that I am rapidly approaching the end of my first trimeter. So what have I experienced in the first trimester? If I asked Craig, the first word out of his mouth would be SLEEPY. I have been very tired. There were 3 weeks, before Christmas, I think I slept away. What else have I been experiencing? All day bouts of nausea. I have not been throwing up but just get very nauseous. Also, foods I normally love to eat like pizza, lasagna, Mexican now do not sound good or smell good to me at all. Speaking of smells, I smell everything!! Anything stinky especially food, my nose perks right up. One more thing..lots of indigestion too.
